In summer 2020 we signed ‘Stargazing’ by PRSPKTV. It featured a young MC from Nottingham by the name of RSWT. We loved his energy and attitude as well as his bars and knew we wanted to work with him more. He recorded a head spinning verse with Mitekiss for ‘City Angels’ and joined us for numerous live shows before deciding to change his artist name to his real name.
Goldfat is proud to introduce Deon.
‘December ‘20’ produced by Kublai is not what you might expect. Kublai offers a minimal soundscape allowing Deon to fully go in and express what’s on his mind. Deon vents his pain, anguish and hopes from a particular point in time, like a diary excerpt, we are taken through personal trauma and struggles from an artist not afraid to share some vulnerability.
Back to more familiar territory with some emotive liquid stylings courtesy of Athena. Deon links up with Goldfat favourite Breezy Lee and together they lament how they refuse to be defined by adversity.
This is music for the soul. Deon and his collaborators have crafted two songs that ring with optimism despite the turmoil of life. Therapy through art!
